Boys & Girls Age 8-14. Half day camps are Monday - Friday 8:30am-11:30am, 1:30pm-4:30pm
Full day camps are Monday - Friday 8:30am-1:30pm, 11:30am-4:30pm
Tryout Information: Mira Costa High School Pool Saturday, June 21, 2008 9:00 - 11:00 am Complete a 100 yds swim test in 2:30 seconds. Tread water for 5 min. or swim 100 yds in 1:50 seconds. You may pass your swim test in advance, provided your swim coach is registered with BeachSports. Your Coach must complete the Swim Test Verification Form available online or from the BeachSports office. A Swim Test is not required of 2007 BeachSports Jr. Lifeguard Program participants or participants of other area Jr. Lifeguard programs. Valid completion certificate required.
Instruction in Jr. Lifeguard training skills, beach and ocean safety, swimming, surfing, body boarding, beach games such as volleyball, marine life, and ecology. This session includes our famous surf trip to San

Our coaches are CPR and first aid trained experienced teachers, coaches, and lifeguards. Shade And Water Will Be Provided. Campers Are Encouraged To Bring Snacks. Campers Choosing The 5 Hour Day need to bring their lunch. Strict Ocean Safety Rules Will Be Followed. Sunscreen Is Available For Camper Use. Friday is Pizza Lunch Day! Your first week of camp all campers recieve a free Body Glove - BeachSports custom rashguard and Body Glove Back Pack.
Learning JG skills, beach and ocean safety and using the skills you learn are the focus of BeachSports JG Program. With safety in mind our camp is located next to Lifeguard Tower
